Office Printing Saving Tips

We’ve got you covered at our press with the lowest printing rate possible, but here are some tips to reduce printing cost at your office.

FONTS MATTER

Using Garamond gives you 25% more ink mileage than Arial. Ecofont is also a great one to use for informal office document exchange.

DUPLEX

Use that button religiously. Double-sided printing saves paper cost and increases efficiency.

DRAFT

Printing as “draft” saves you almost half the ink, not to mention the prints will come out faster. Manually reduce the printer’s DPI to 300 instead of the usual 1,000 and save 2/3 ink cost.

EQUIPMENT UPDATE

Get rid of that 5 year-old printer and opt for a newer Energy Star-qualified multi-functional printer. New technology means more efficiency at a lower cost. Older equipment actually cost more to maintain.
